SHOW NOTES

Good Note: Being a health care chiropractor by trade he never felt fulfilled with his own lifestyle. He said he must change something and then released his first small program to show people how to get more clients. Then immediately realized he was undervaluing himself.

Bad Note: When things are not going well, try and change it with hindsight. Rather than making the solution complex. Simple businesses scale, complex business fail.

Bandmates: You can go fast when you’re alone and go far when you have a team. The most important hires that James did were all personal positions such as a maid & child care to get his time focused.

Getting Fans: Ask yourself what is your sales journey to get these clients.

THE STORY

In 2019, James launched an online program to help healthcare practice owners to fill theirpractices with their ideal clients so they can generate more revenue and impact morepeople. With eight months he grew it to 7 figures – fast forward to now without hundredsof healthcare practice owners all over the world and in dozens of industries to transitionfrom underpaid practitioner to well-paid business owner where they have control overtheir business and the freedom to have the lifestyle they want because of it.

There are a lot of wonderful and skilled health professionals and practice owners who aregreat at getting results for their patients but don’t have the same ability to reach andattract these patients into their practices because they are often not the entrepreneurialor business types. They are health professionals at heart and so they are stuck relying onreferrals from other providers, spending all hours networking, hustling at health fares andbeing overwhelmed with all the social media and online platforms, and getting taken for aride by marketing gurus and agencies. James wanted to disrupt the allied healthcareindustry by taking the power back from the marketing gurus and agencies and give itback to the health professionals and practice owners and show them how they can havecontrol over their success the big message is that you can have a successful practiceand not have to be a marketing or business genius.

SHOW NOTES

Good Note: During Covid utilizing the time and all of the skills he has learned to generate more income & success. Taking on work with a medical technology company that is now ready by having time working from home.

Bad Note: During his 13 years in the business there has been many bad notes whether it was work for himself or other corporations. Ultimately time gets away from you, getting caught up in doing the ‘best’ you can do. Thinking you can do everything. Constantly being away from your family and stressing about something you could have finished. Loosing money and not giving yourself time to train yourself to develop.

Bandmates: At first there was no band, no delegating which took nothing but time away from him. After working for certain companies when there was a lot to do, he started utilizing people efficiently by marking down who was doing what, then work load deminished big time. Recognize what you do and what you don’t do.

Practice makes Progress: Plan out your calendar weekly or even daily to tackle what needs to be done. Schedule out your time for the different hats you need to wear, customer service, manager, employe etc.. Be the boss for yourself. As for scheduling other people, make sure they plan their personal time first!

THE STORY

Mike is the author of the book, “Slacking Off: A Successful Way to Work from Home” and he wrote it especially for those who are considering to work or are working from home and for anyone who has experienced the same things I mentioned earlier.

He has been a work-from-home entrepreneur for OVER 15 YEARS (talk about experience) and worked with major corporations such as Cox Automotive, Verizon Super Pages, and Major Commercial Finance companies. His journey wasn’t a smooth sailing one since he is also human like us (if you are reading this, you must be too), and he made many mistakes along the way. But he lived to share some wisdom from his own experience to help people on their work-from-home journey and create their own successful actions.

SHOW NOTES

Good Note: After graduating college Samit tried his hand at various businesses from travel to hair and beauty. Failing at all of them and being down on his luck for years, it took just one more try to help raise 1.6 million for a campaign. Afterwards the work came flooding in even before starting his agency.

Bad Note: Tons and tons of mistakes. From the amount of work from different businesses and industries became the foundation for learning. After doing a deep dive he found that

  1. Lack of research for said company ( Young and naive )
  2. Pre-launch your campaign ( Validate and prove )
  3. Build a comunity

Practice makes Progress: Consistently learning from experience is right, but with what we have now reverse engineering anything out there. You can learn lots from your competitors and understanding your competitor landscape.

Getting Fans: Local networking events and making relationships within the industry. Getting reviews and testimonials will help getting traffic. Use your personal brand when building trust from a customer, put yourself out there.

Bandmates: Using freelancers right away. Be involved and document the process. Everything that you don’t need to do, hire to fill that position.

THE STORY

I have been a successful/ failure entrepreneur for around 15 years, starting off as a nightclub promoter in London to help pay for university tuition fees and making over $1,000 a week. I graduated in the worst financial crisis in 2009 and tried my hand at various businesses, failing at all until I started a social media agency that became successful only to be kicked out by my business partner.

I was rock bottom in 2015, after multiple failures I had lost faith in my entrepreneurial journey. I had 0 to my name, I had various legal issues due to my previous business partner and I gave up. It took a freak accident to throw me back in the path of an entrepreneur and is the reason for the success I enjoy. I have been running a successful agency since 2015 that has helped raise over $43 million through crowdfunding. So far I’ve helped hundreds of products in over 47 different industries.

I am a practitioner first and a speaker second, I became a speaker after people started recognizing my work and wanted me to train others. I have been given the loving name of ‘‘Product Launch sifu’ while I was in Asia recently, I’ve helped coach and train 1000s of people around the world.

Good Note: Starting off as a camera operator for a local news station, Howies dream was to do sports TV. Calling ESPN with camera experience he was told that he didn’t have enough experience. 5 years later to the day, he called back for the job and got it.

Bad Note: There is no 1 path to take. Self funding and invest in the proper equipment needed.

Practice make Progress: Consistently reading and learning with intention of what other people are doing. There is always room for improvement and knowing you’ll will make the mistakes.

Bandmates: Picking people that are like minded and smart at their craft. Being on time is a must.

Learning from others: Having a mentor to show you the ropes. A Linkedin Coach that helped with getting leads and building a profile. Every time he has spent money on coaches they helped with guidance and getting questions answered to implement.

THE STORY

Howie Zales is an Emmy Award winning Camera Operator who turned his passion for television broadcasting into several entrepreneurial endeavors.

Howie created HJZ Productions, Inc in 2000 to address the need for professional level sports crewing/staffing in the New York market. Under his leadership, HJZ Productions grew to a multi-million dollar nationwide provider of top talent in the broadcasting field. In 2019, Howie and his team founded Viridity Entertainment Services, Inc. (VES) which initially focused on staffing in non-union markets.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, they quickly pivoted to offering best in class, broadcast quality livestreams of professional sports shows and interviews, corporate interviews and meetings, and religious services. In addition, Howie took his love of the television production business and created The TV Sports Course, a hands-on training boot camp for the next generation of television crew professionals.

Howie is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh’s Mass Communication program.
