With over a decade of coaching, Gabriel Basque has one goal in life, to serve leaders to realize their potential. He loves to spend quality time with his family, eat Indian food, challenge himself with fitness goals, and practice his faith.

 

Gabriel has been professionally coaching since the age of 21. Today, he specializes in high-level executive coaching and providing leadership development for today's leaders. In this episode, we are joined by the Owner of Aurora Office, Michelle Karbonik. Michelle talks about the successes and challenges she faced as an entrepreneur and how she helps other entrepreneurs with her business services. She also shares how you can stay on top of your taxes when you’re just starting out with a business.

 

Michelle began her career working with youth. She became a social worker in ’99 in the field of Youth, Community Development, and Crisis after graduating from MacEwan University on the Dean’s list.

 

It wasn’t until 2001 that she realized she could fully realize her potential in the accounting field. However, her background in social work is a massive benefit that helps her work with her clients today, as finances and bookkeeping are deeply personal aspects that must be handled confidentially and professionally.

 

In addition to her schooling at NAIT and MacEwan University which is ongoing. She has a wealth of real-world experience through her work with Aurora Office and the mentorship of her mother.

In 1999, Kay Allison was a Senior Vice President at a global ad agency, and a single mom as her drinking escalated to the point that it got so bad that she decided to go alcohol-free.

 

Since then, Kay increased her income 6x, met and married a man she’s still crazy about 21 years later, helped Fortune 200 companies generate $2 billion in new revenue, adopted a child, written two books, invented four successful businesses, traveled around the world and moved to her dream town.

 

More importantly, she is happy with herself.

 

She lives in a pine forest and meditates by a waterfall.
